Dear
Families,
Congratulations
on becoming a parent and thank you for your interest in my
services.
The
birth of my daughter in 2002 awoke in me a passionate
interest in birth. When my son came along in 2005, that
interest became even stronger. I was changed forever by the
inspiration and empowerment discovered in the birth of my
babies. Since then I have found myself drawn to helping new
families.
In 2007 I
completed the Douglas College Birth Doula Training Program
and the Breastfeeding Basics lactation education course. I
was certified by
DONA (Doulas International) as a Birth
Doula in 2008 and attended the full DONA professional
development conference in July of 2008. I have completed the
Lamaze Teaching Skills program for prenatal educators. I
also hold Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education
degrees. I am a member of the Doula Services Association of
BC, the International Childbirth Education Association,
Lamaze International and DONA International.

I feel
fortunate to be able to put my passion for birth into
practice by offering my services to families in Richmond
